Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 25, 2026

Vector is currently in beta. As the app develops, the data we collect and how we use it may change. We'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above whenever that happens.

1. Overview

Vector ("Vector", "we", "us", or "our") is a workout tracking app that helps you log workouts, track progress, and stay consistent with light progression features like XP, streaks, quests, and badges. This policy explains what information Vector collects, how it's used, and how you can manage or delete it.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign up, Vector collects your email address and password. Authentication is handled by Supabase, and your password is never stored in plain text or visible to us.

Profile & fitness information

Information you choose to add to your profile, which may include your display name, sex, height, current and goal weight, body measurements, primary fitness goal, and profile mark. All profile fields are optional and can be edited or deleted at any time from the Profile page.

You may optionally add a date of birth in your Profile settings. This is used solely to keep your age current automatically — it is never used for advertising and is never shared with third parties.

Workout & activity data

The workouts you create and log — including exercises, sets, reps, weight, duration, and distance — along with derived progression data such as XP, level, streaks, badges, and quest progress.

Push notification data

If you enable notifications, Vector stores a device token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so it can send you optional alerts such as workout reminders, streak reminders, and personal record notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Vector does not collect your location, contacts, browsing history, or any photos.

3. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Vector stores your account and app data using Supabase, and (if you enable notifications) delivers push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google). These providers act only as infrastructure for Vector and do not use your data for their own purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your information is only accessible to the service providers listed above, as needed to operate the app, and to Vector for the purpose of maintaining and improving the app during the beta.

6. Your Choices & Data Deletion

You can view and edit your profile information at any time from the Profile page. You can permanently delete your account — including your profile, workout history, XP, badges, and quest progress — from Settings → Delete Account & All Data. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.

You can also request account or data deletion by emailing support@nwforge.app.

7. Security

Vector uses Supabase authentication and row-level security so that your account data is only accessible to you. While no system can be guaranteed 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Children's Privacy

Vector is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Vector develops, especially during the beta period. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Vector after a change means you accept the updated policy.

10. Contact Us

If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at support@nwforge.app.
